Soap and Glory make up

After hearing about Soap and Glory make up range, I got so excited, and guess what? Yes, I bought something from the range, actually not something but some things. I got the 'Show Good Face' a 2-in-1 foundation and primer, 'Love at First Blush' a multi-shade blushing powder and 'Supercat' a black marker tip eyeliner.

Show Good Face

This is a great foundation for those who are wanting a light coverage. The foundation is so smooth when applied, and gives a silky, luminous finish. It will last long and won't cake on!
£11.00

Love At First Blush

Love this product! A shimmery powder containing three shades: Pink, Pop and Pearl, that will make your skin look absolutely gorgeous. Just sweep over one or two shades for a simple glow or go for all to turn up the rosiness.
£11.00

Supercat

This carbon black eyeliner is definitely going into my handbag. It creates the perfect line easily and will last you however long you want it to. To go for the natural look use the fine tip or the thick part- for a bold statement.

Lace

I love the lace trend. It's chic and gives the elegant look, and it never gets old. In every woman's cupboard there should be at least one item of lace. I own a cream coloured lace dress but now it's time for me to get the classic black. High Street lace...

Make-up again

I know I've mentioned how I love all things make-up from wearing, to buying to applying but I wanted to discuss my attendance for a make-up course me and my friend went to. It was a three hour course which took place locally, and was very convenient for us. It was advertised on Groupon and it interested me so I decided to purchase two vouchers. We got to do make-up on each other after watching the make-up artist do it on a model. In those three hours we got to learn how to do the whole face. We used Mac products, which most make-up artists use, especially the Asians, or what I know of. I did my friend's make-up first, starting from the eyes, then doing the base and gradually completing the lips. I enjoyed the experience very much and was proud of my work, well... and my friend's :) Here's our work, the first one is my mine and those are my eyes in pink.

Soap and Glory

The beauty company which has been taking good care of our skin, has introduced a make-up range with 13 products from blushers to lipsticks to cheek tints. It might be just what you need for this party season. For more information visit www.soapandglory.com/new-arrivals or simply purchase in store.

Kiko Make Up Milano

Hello all,

Sorry to be out of your faces but I've been so busy during the September month... and a little bit of October :) I've had my Birthday and completed my internship at a TV Listings co. Now, let's get rolling with my post...dedicated to Kiko Make Up Milano, which I came across in Stratford's Westfield. As I am obsessed with makeup, I decided to pop in and have a look. This makeup brand is popular for its colour, gosh, it's amazing, I felt like picking all the items. The best thing about Kiko is it's affordable and from what i've read and wore, the quality is brilliant. You can't go wrong with mascaras for £4! As I was browsing and testing, a highlighter caught my eye, which I bought. It's absoloutely gorgeous and good for asian skin tones. It's called, 'all over light' in shade 05. I like to highlight my cheeks. So, the best way I think to use the highlighter is to apply the blusher first and then using a thin blusher brush to dab along the top of your cheeks. P.S. You can even use it on the body.

I am just hoping that they introduce the English website so I can get ordering :)

Forever21

Today, I visited Forever21 on Bond St. I found it so amazing that the amount of variety they had in store. I found their clothing pretty impressive as well as the price! Unfortunately, I had less time to look around properly. I did have my eyes on two maxi dresses but I didn't want to buy it for the sake of it, and had to think about my budget. I went on all the floors but had to rush in looking at things. I have vivid images of the items I liked, one which included a pair of shoes. I managed to find two images of what I liked from the site, here they are:

My experience at O Spa

A couple of weeks ago I headed to London to get a facial done- a treat from my sister :) It was a special deal that my sister brought online and recommended me to go for it. So I went to O Spa based in Austin Reed at Regent St. As I entered in Austin Reed I enquired and found the spa to be on ground floor. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and was told to fill in a form which asked me relevant questions and also what kind of atmosphere I would like to get my facial done in. I was lead by my therapist to a room and was told to get comfortable. The room looked beautiful. There were candles lit, there was a blue and purple light on the top, a bed with a brown silk throwover, and gentle music playing. I laid down, closed my eyes and wondered off for a moment, while my face was massaged and purified. My facial was well worth it! I've never felt so relaxed in my life before. I had my shoulders massaged too. It lasted a good 25 minutes and the results were smoother than ever.

Lovestruck by Vera Wang

Vera Wang's new perfume Lovestruck had me fall for it as I tested it. I was struck at first sight. The sexy floral fragrance is ever so romantic and the bottle has been beautifully designed with a tulle bow in a burgundy colour and deep berry flowers. It will surely be a collector's item. The burgundy colour reflects the dress Leighton Meester wears in the advert. The Gossip Girl actress was named the face of the fragrance late last year and will appear in print ads too. It is believed that Lovestruck has been inspired by the famous love story of Romeo and Juliet. The fragrance itself is young in spirit yet classic and it's a must for my beauty shelf, sometime soon, hopefully! Lovestruck is available from Boots priced at £35 for 30ml.

Exfoliate away...

dead skin. It's important to scrub your face and body often or as you may like to call it, exfoliate. You should scrub your face and body a couple of times in a month as it's vital to get rid of any impurities and to bring out the smooth new skin. There are many good scrubs out there in the market but I would recommend St Ives' range of body scrubs. For the past month, I have been using the scrub for 'all skin types' and I think it's great. It makes my skin smooth and bright. The good thing is that they are affordable and there are different types. Your skin will look radiant and refreshing. You could opt for the expensive exfoliators too but all you need to do is: Get scrubbing.

Mua's £1 range

Make Up Academy has introduced its £1 range, yes, that's right only a pound. I was surprised too when I found the perfect aqua coloured eyeshadow for my outfit when wondering through the makeup aisles. There are so many products to choose from, including lipsticks, mascaras, eye colours, blushers and even nail varnishes. You will be spoilt for choice. I shall be visiting Superdrug again to purchase additional items for myself as the range is so worth it. So ladies get your pounds...or even pennies out :)

I want that

I am in love with a Mango bag, which I saw a couple of weeks ago at the Mango store at Covent Garden. It's a quilt design shoulder bag, and it has the Mango logo engraved on the front. It was the only one left and the condition wasn't so good. So a couple of days later I had to head to London again, I went to the one at Oxford Street, asked the supervisor about it and waited for 15 minutes, hoping to get the bag. But no, It wasn't available. With less time on my hands, I had no option but to forget about it in the meanwhile. Now, I really want it! I hardly treat myself, so I'm hoping to get my hands on it soon. Fingers crossed.

Striking Stripes

Whether you like it or not, but stripes are in this season. They are bigger and better. Personally, I wouldn't wear stripes as they don't make me look so flattering, or maybe I would wear the verticle ones, but the stripes I have seen on some clothes are pretty impressive and so bold!

My latest buy=Lipstick.

I have to share the latest product I have brought, yes, it's a pretty lipstick with a beautiful shade, by Estee Lauder. The lipsticks are new to the range-they are called Pure Color. They are shimmery and they last longer. I wanted a red colour but not too bright and not too dark. So I was recommended to buy the 'Bitten Fig' shade. It's a red colour with a touch of pink. It was £18. I have worn it twice and I'm loving it, it's good for the casual days and even parties. Just apply accordingly.

Radox smoothies

I am loving Radox's shower smoothies, they are packed with natural ingredients good for your skin and they smell absolutely gorgeous. I brought the natural yogurt one with honey and almond bits. I trust those ingredients as I know they are beneficial to the skin. My one is called 'Natural balance', the others are: 'Spirit booster', 'Soul Smoother', 'Tropical' and ' Energy therapy'. The 'Natural balance' smells yummy, that's why it says on the packaging 'don't drink me'. Try them, but don't end up drinking them :)

Good Friday will be good!

I am looking forward to Good Friday not that I am going anywhere out to celebrate or anything but just to my sister's flat for a girly party and may be a sleepover. I'm happy for my sister who has got a nice spacious flat and I'm looking forward to the party, where everyone will have to cook something and bring it in. I'm not sure what I'm cooking but it could be a home-made pizza. We will see. I'm more excited about what I will be wearing. I actually ordered a beautiful blue dress from Boohoo and I still need to figure out what accessories I will wear and what colour shrug. The dress in itself is lovely, it has sequins on the top and it flows well. I love the silky material too. I want to wear red lipstick as I love the colour but I shall see. Here's the dress:

NO7's Poppy King Range.

Lipstick legend Poppy King has collaborated with makeup brand No7 to create seven gorgeous lipstick and lipgloss shades. These shades are made for women to change their views on lipsticks. The shades are simply beautiful and will suit anyone who loves lipsticks or even who is lipstick shy. If you're lipstick shy, then it's advised to go for a sheer colour to start of with. You need to wear a shade for a bit in order to know that it suits you. Once your shyness fades then you can go for more daring colours. My favourite colour from the range has to be 'History' because I love the red shade, it's timeless, sexy and bold!

Estee Lauder's double wear

You may have read my post previously on foundations, but there was one foundation from a makeup co I didn't try and that is Estee Lauder, which I have tried lately and which I absolutely love. I have even brought it. I've heard from a few people that Estee Lauder's foundations are fantastic, especially the double wear. It won't easily melt in the hot weather or even go on your clothes, like if you're wearing a scarf or a polo neck. It's a long lasting foundation. I was so impressed with the coverage when the lovely Estee Lauder tried it on me. I took the 'shell beige' sample home and it looked a little dark on me in the natural light, so I went back after a few days to get another shade. The 'wheat' shade I got was perfect. I got the sample and also brought it. I can mix both shades in the summer if I want to go darker. The best thing about Estee Lauder is that they have a refund policy-so if you're not happy with the actual foundation you can return it and only Estee Lauder holds this policy.

Fish Pedicure

As excited as a fish... I am actually, not that I know fishes get excited, but in our local mall we have a fish pedicure spa opened called DR SpaFish- I want to try it, but need to be sure I can take the ticklish feeling. Fifteen minutes for £10 is not bad. I've heard it's enough to take those fishes nibbling your heels away, not literally, the dead skin I mean. It's already popular in countries like Morocco and Turkey, where people lay in a bath full of fishes. That sounds a little freaky. But as for the feet, I've heard that they turn out smooth and silky. The good thing about our spa is that the water filter moves around each time, so that when the next person sits and sinks their feet in, the water is fresh. Fish pedicure is also beneficial for Eczema and Parotitis. Why not try it out, there are many in London too.

Fragrance direct

I recently had the interest to buy a perfume, as the last one I had finished a few weeks ago. I wanted to own a 100ml perfume, so that I know it will last me a while and a scent that I love. My sister brought herself a perfume, so I felt like treating myself to one. I went online and on google search, I typed in CK's Eternity Moment, which came out after Eternity many years ago. I love the scent, it's floral, fresh and exotic. I've had it before but this time I wanted more. I went on to a site called fragrance direct, where they do perfumes at good prices. They even do cheap makeup, you should check it out.

Bohoo

Hello readers,

I am so excited that I am going on holiday in March to Marrakech because at last I'm getting to discover another place with lots of culture and history. The part I'm exicted about is what to wear, and I think maxi dresses or even casual, bolt print dresses will look good and be suitable for me. So, as I was browsing online, I decided to check the Bohoo website. I love the clothes they sell. I was checking through the sale items and I found a maxi dress which I really liked. It was only £10, isn't that a bargain? I've received it through the post and even tried it on. The style suits me and the material is good. It looks a little long but all I need is a pair of high sandals to get it right. So here it is...

Hi-tech foundation

I can't wait to try out Chanel's new Vitalumiere Aqua £31, which contains a radiance light diffusing complex, which leaves skin looking soft, like flattering lumious light. The best thing is that it's very blemish-friendly.

Coloured lashes

Ditch your black mascara for a coloured one as coloured mascaras are hot at the moment and they're a great way to make your eyes stand out with out having to wear eyeshadow. I'm loving Rimmel's extra super lash mascara in electric blue and I've also brought a purple one by Collection 2000. Also check out Topshop's mascara in Nettle, a teal green colour. Flash your lashes, ladies.

asos

Hey my lovely peeps,

Hope you all had a great new years! Hope this year brings us plenty of joy and success. Hope you had a great time shopping too. To be honest, I found the sales to be fairly rubbish, but that's because I was looking in my local town. If i had gone to London, maybe I would have found something, but I don't think I would able to take the rush- It would get to my head. Therefore, I would prefer shopping online, selecting what you like in the comfort of your own home. A must- see website to shop on is asos. They have a large variety and they have a 70 per cent sale going on. I have checked out some dresses, and they are beautiful and I'm finding it difficult to choose one, plus, I am a little fussy too. But anyways, make sure you check the asos sale out-It's well worth it :)
