Lipsticks

L'oreal Gel eyeliner

I don't go a day without L'oreal's Gel Eyeliner. It comes with a brush that makes it easier to control the line along your eye and increase the thickness of it. You can even apply it thinly with the versatile brush or go for a more dramatic look. I used to wear Rimmel's exaggerate liquid eye liner but I wanted to try something different. A lot of other make up brands are doing the gel eyeliner and they all are fab, I must say!

*If you want a change, try using a bold pencil, like the body shop one, as it will give you an intense colour.

Creative Tights

When I think of tights, the original thought that comes to my mind is a nice pair of black tights, and, erm, maybe white, but looking at the website, ‘My Tights’, that thought has definitely expanded. There is so much to choose from and the best thing is – the tights are so appealing. The creativity of the tights is superb, whether it’s print, lace or a funky design, you’ll be surprised on the variety. I love the Wolford range - they look highly fashionable and sexy and are suitable for day or night wear. Every tight has its own appeal but my favourite has to be the ‘Wolford Twist Tights’. I find the swirly design very pretty and the bold look makes it look eye-catching. Check out the range and add that extra edge to your outfit.

Lush's Mood Wheel

Lush has launched its emotional Brilliance make-up range featuring a variety of lipsticks, cream eyeshadows and liquid eyeliners. These come in little bottles and are great to go in your handbag and most importantly, they are vegan friendly.

The Lush wheel works by choosing a colour according to your mood. The concept came from Lush's work in collaboration with Behavioural Therapist, Lady Kennedy. The game, which can be played online or in store, helps you pick three colours as they spin round and then these bottled colours are placed in the middle. Each colour has a meaning. Why don't you see it for yourself.

Bottles cost £14.50

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow

I love the Benefit make up brand. Each product has it's own goodness for the skin. From the eye creams to primers. I was not to keen on the foundation range, however, I did think it's Hello Flawless powder was a tremendous product. It's still a top Benefit product. It provides good coverage and reduces redness with those who have problematic skin. I have tried so many foundations from all make up brands. Some foundations have been good, some have not been worth it. The recent foundation I purchased was MAC's Studio Tech. I must say it provides a good heavy coverage but I felt it was too thick and a lot for my skin to take. As I will be going away for a wedding to a hot country,  I wanted a foundation that will feel light and provide good coverage and most importantly, not melt! I was happy to hear that Benefit introduced it's Hello Flawless in a liquid version. I also read a good review about it in a beauty magazine. So I decided to finally purchase this foundation, which I did yesterday, because I reckon it will be my best match for the wedding, as It feels light when applied and hopefully, it won't slide off! Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow is an oil-free, skin brightening product that will make the skin look luminous. It's the only foundation with the highest sun protection. This foundation allows you to build on the coverage and is available in nine shades priced at £24.50.

Well...Hello!

Dr Schrammek BB

BB creams known as Blemish Balms are hot right now. There is an increase in make up companies making these. I've tried a few but never seen anything as brilliant as Dr Schrammek's BB. My cousin went for a facial treatment at a London clinic and the clinician had applied this balm in the end. My younger sister was going on about how great her skin looked so we were all curious to find out what BB cream was used - even she didn't know. When I went with her for the next visit, we discovered it was Dr Schrammek BB. This rang a bell because a few weeks before I was researching for the best BB's out there and came across this brand. This BB makes the skin look absolutely flawless. It's a little pricey for the amount you get but it works wonders. It's great for everyday use if you prefer not to wear full-on make up. It provides special care for reddened, impure and irritated skin. I would definitely recommend this product!

Available in three shades- Light, Classic, and Honey. Starts from £22 for 15ml.

Ooh la la!

Make-up just got creative with funky lip foils. These lip foils are pretty impressive and available in nine shades from Glitzy Lips Lip Foil at £29.95. All you have to do is apply the adhesive primer, which comes with the roll of foil and firmly press down and rip it off like a waxing strip. A roll of foil is enough to do 4o lips. So go mega metallic with these!

Love,

Threads and Motifs

Some of you may wonder what Threads and Motifs is... Well, it's a boutique featuring the most trendy Pakistani outfits. I didn't hear of it either until I visited a store in Ilford called Phulkari, which features different designer brands. I liked the Thread and Motifs brand and it's cheaper compared to the others there. Their clothes are only based in London or Manchester in the UK, otherwise, worldwide. I shall be visiting Pakistan this year for a cousin's wedding and will definitely check this store out there. I hope to purchase an outfit, it will be much cheaper with more variety available- And it's even exciting when it's the wedding season. Visit http://www.threadsandmotifs.com/store/ to see the latest designs.

Garden Party by Dior

I am rather excited to try out Dior's Garden Party range. A range which includes the perfect shades for spring when your complexion is in need of brightening up. The shades are very pretty and it makes you want to own all. It consists of a nail paint in two shades, a lipgloss in two shades, lipsticks, a Skinflash radiance booster pen, a Smoky eyes palette in two different shades (Smoky Garden and Smoky Voilet) and a 5 Couleurs palette collector's edition (£55) in 'Granville Green' and 'Milly Garden'. The 5 Couleurs palette collector's edition in Granville Green is my favourite. Encased in a cream weaved clutch, It includes three rose embossed eye shadows and two glossy pink lip colours which will go well with any skin tone.

The Garden Party range will be available from 16th January nationwide in Dior stores and now available at Selfridges counters.

Visit http://www.selfridges.com/en/Beauty/Categories/NEW-IN/ for full range.

Love,
S :)
